Meet This Mormon

We belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints otherwise known as “The Mormons”. We are proud of this part of who we are! We are excited to team up with over 65+ of us strong… to extend an invitation to see a film. A film entitled “Meet The Mormons”. This film is not meant to be an “in your face” – you must join our church film. It is simply designed and produced to uplift and inspire you through six stories of those of our faith who have followed promptings to follow Christ more fully in their lives. We hope you take the opportunity to enjoy this film. We hope your hearts are made light as you feel the goodness that comes from following our Christ and Savior. All proceeds from the film will be donated to The American Red Cross. So not only will you be uplifted and inspired, your money will be going to an amazing charity!!

There are so many beliefs, values, opinions, and judgments in the world and it is near impossible to voice your personal beliefs without consequence. But today many fellow bloggers and I have taken the challenge to share our personal beliefs with our readers.

I am a Mormon. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

I have a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I strive to live it to the best of my ability. I try to live the principles and covenants I have made to live a Christ-like life and to cherish my family. Though I was raised in the church and with my beliefs, it has been my choice to research, pray, and read the Book of Mormon and to find my own testimony.

I have received countless blessings and peace from knowing the gospel is true. My relationship with my Savior has helped me to grow and allowed me to put things into perspective. I understand my eternal plan, the purpose to my life on earth, and the amazing blessings I can gain through the Atonement.

I know that our Heavenly Father has prepared a plan for us to return to Him, and that our families can be sealed together for time and all eternity, and not just ’til death do us part’. And through this plan I can not only be together with my personal family that I have now, but my ancestors that have passed on. The gospel gives me an eternal calling as well as the strength and faith to overcome my trials and challenges of today.

I am a Mormon. I am not perfect, but I try my hardest to live the commandments and to love and serve all those I come in contact with. I know that I am a daughter of God, I know He loves me, and I feel and see His presence in my life. Everything I am is because of my faith and testimony.

I know that Joseph Smith Jr. received personal revelation and was given the power to translate the Book of Mormon which is another testament of Christ. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a living prophet.

My testimony is simple, strong, and based on the most simple of truths. Mormonism (LDS) is not complicated, it is not secretive, it is not based on false doctrine; it is true, it is simple, and it is strong.
If you would like to learn more about what I believe, and the millions of others who have testimony’s please visit www.mormon.org or www.lds.org.

This video is being released in theatres on Friday. It is to simply introduce Mormon’s and our lifestyle and even though we are all so unique and different, our faith strengthens us. 🙂

This is my forever.

We also would like to take a moment and share our personal testimonies, stories of our own personal conversions, and our own stories of how following our Savior, Jesus Christ has changed our lives. The light of the gospel of Jesus Christ offers a joy and hope that only following him can provide. We hope as you click through and read our stories and testimonies of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, you will feel uplifted and encouraged. We are by you! We love connecting with our readers, that is why many of us do what we do! Please be kind and considerate in your comments. It takes great bravery for us to open our hearts and our mouths to share with you such a tender and personal part of who we are. We share because we feel strongly the need to share the peace and the hope that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
